Elrona Silba D’Souza
Elrona D’Souza knew she wanted to be in HR before most people knew what it even meant. She chased that calling hard—earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, and proudly became one of the UAE’s first SHRM-SCP certified professionals.
Her 15-year run in the oil and gas world was anything but ordinary—leading teams across the GCC, scaling operations, navigating M&As, and building HR frameworks that held their ground in high-pressure industries. But while climbing the corporate ladder, she kept hearing the same thing from her friends running small businesses: “We don’t have HR figured out.”
That’s when she made the bold leap—leaving a thriving corporate career to launch S&K HR Consulting, a boutique firm that helps SMEs stop winging it with their people and start building real structure and results. Fast forward 10 years, she now helps international businesses expand their business and operations into the UAE, bridging the gap between home-country HR and local practices while maintaining the culture of the business.
Today, Elrona personally leads every client engagement with her handpicked team of HR pros. She’s all in—crafting strategy, solving complicated people challenges, and delivering a level of care that only a founder truly can. A decade into entrepreneurship, she’s helped dozens of businesses transform their teams, their culture, and their bottom line.

After 15+ years in the corporate world and a year-long sabbatical to reboot and reconnect with what truly fuels her, she joined her sister to build S&K HR Consulting 2.0—a next-level HR consultancy designed to help international businesses expand to the UAE and help SMEs grow with clarity, structure, and purpose.
With nearly two decades of hands-on HR expertise, Desma brings more than theory to the table—she brings strategy that sticks. She’s seen firsthand how HR can make or break a business, and she’s here to make sure it does the former.
